    I got a little blue stool at walmart.  I made sure it had grips on the bottom and grooves on the top, so they don't slip off.  Let your DD go to the store with you and pick one out!

    I bought a 2 step stool because my girls are on the short side and they still could not get up on the toilet themselves with just a standard step stool. So they would wig out every time I tried to put them on the big potty, mainly because their feet could not touch anything like they did when they sat on their little potties. The day I got the 2 step stool and put it together in like 5 min., they both got up on the big potty themselves. It was wonderful and we have been using the big potty every since. I figured it will get plenty of use because even when they may be able to use the old standard stool, they can still use this 2 step stool to reach the sink to wash their hands and brush their teeth because our vanity is kind of high.
