AW: Nursery is complete! lots of PsIP

ETA:  I know Winnie the Pooh is cliche but it holds a special place in my heart.

Yep, Tigger is wearing the baby's Cubs hat.  My mom hung the letters at a bit of a slope so H will be fixing that.

Picture of H and I with Pooh characters from our Honeymoon and classic Pooh muscial globe purchased the night we got engaged.  Mom had dresser painted and put ceramic classic Pooh knobs on it.

H actually bought me the classic Pooh crib set for mother's day 2 yrs before we got pregnant.  (The bumper and blanket will come out once LJ is here)

over the changing table I framed a card from our honeymoon that all of the Pooh Characters signed at our special breakfast.

My H and I painted the room before we got pregnant and my FIL put up the chair rail.  My MIL is making a hanging for the wall.  I love that his parents and all of his grandparents contributed something to the room.

    I love it! Very cute and very sentimental. I love Winnie the Pooh and you did such a great job decorating LO's nursery in it!

    Your nursery is great!  I love it! For the record, there is nothing cliche' about Winnie the Pooh. He holds a special place in many of our hearts and it's nice that you're passing on your love of Pooh to your little one. I had Pooh in my room when I was little and still love him, too.

    I'm not a huge pooh fan, but you did a really amazing job with it!  it looks really great and I love all of the special touches!

    Thanks!!!  That's what we were going for.  A touch of the classic (with a few new Pooh additions that I've had since I was a kid) but keeping it from looking like the 100 acre woods threw up in there LOL

    Very cute!  My DH loves Pooh, so I was really surprised that he didn't request a Pooh-themed nursery.

    Oh it's gorgeous!! I love the colors for the classic Pooh. You did a great job! And I love all the sentimental touches, like the card and pictures. Love it!

    No...they were at a bookstore here in Canada called "Chapters". It's just like B & N though so I wouldn't be suprised if they did have them there.

     LOL.  Mission accomplished :)  It looks great!  Such a sweet little room. We have the same crib in oak.
