DH is driving me crazy (rant)

He just flipped out at me because I was planning on having a friend babysit my 2 year old for two hours during our wedding until my brother comes to stay with him over night. He's mad because I was going to leave our son with a stranger.

First of all, I know her. We went to the same elementary school. Second, everyone else that I know more - is coming to the wedding. No one wants to leave early. So he said "call my mom and ask her." so I asked why he couldn't ask his family himself, because everytime we need a favour from MY family, I'm the one that needs to call. =

Not only that but everytime I ask him to do something for the baby he says "here, I'll hold him so you can do it." He's never washed a bottle... and barely changes the baby's diaper. He'll change Adrian's, only if I insist that I'm too busy to do it, though.

Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy but he always uses the fact that he works as an excuse. And when I'm working its "but you don't work as many hours as I do." Well, when I watch the kids all day while you sleep, cook and clean for them, change them and put them to bed at night - I think I'm working, too. At least you get days off from your job.

    wait?  OUR wedding.  didn't he realize you were going to need someone to watch kids?  You're going to be a little pre-occupied with other things like cutting the cake, toasting, VOWs.  Duh.

    Wait, this is for your own wedding?  What does he think you're going to do, carry a baby around all day while you're getting pics done, talking to guests, etc.  If you know her and trust her, what is the big deal?

    The babysitter isn't even for the day. It was for after dinner between 10:00 and 1 am when the wedding is over. I just need someone to put him to bed. I have no idea what he wants me to do about the baby. I don't really want to put him in our room down the hall even though its locked and I'd have the baby monitor, that's not right. But what the heck does he want me to do??
