definitely don't tell people IRL that I bump. Anyone can see what we're posting and I don't want my family/friends to see the stuff I post on here about my CM, sex life, etc.

My DH is all about "Hey honey anything good on the bump today?" He even asked me this morning "When do we get to POAS and it not be a waste?"

I tend to Bump when DH is gone or when I'm at work... DH doesn't really "get it" but he doesn't mind me bumping since it means I can obsess about TTC with strangers, rather than with him.

IRL, no one knows we are TTC... I don't even think anyone knows what the Bump is! Sometimes I wonder how many people I know IRL are on here...

My DH used to post a lot on Grateful Dead message boards (still does once in a while), so he doesn't think it's ridiculous. That doesn't stop him from making fun of me though. He sometimes asks me if I'm on "The Dump" or "The Hump" just to be a jerk Stick out tongue

I've never really told DH that I bump, but he came into the office the other day and asked what I was doing. I told him not to worry about it, but then he creeped the computer and said "What the hell is a bumpie? Are you a bumpie!? OMG you are, aren't you?" LOL. He just laughed at me and walked out of the room. I'm sure if your DH realized what a great frustration outlet this is (which in return makes it so he does not have to listen to baby stuff 24/7 he would appreciate the bump more!)

DH makes remarks about me being obsessed. Sometimes when I dont know something he asks if I asked you ladies that and Google. He swears youre all creepy old men anyway

I think at first he thought it was weird when I started posting on theknot, but then when he realized how it helped make our wedding such a wonderful event so he was happy that I had searched and received recs from "the message board"

We were actually talking about it on the way home from a baby shower yesterday. Our friend's wife said she had charted and is thinking of having a med free birth, I was explaining to him that before the bump all I knew was epidurals and c-sections. He said it is great to have a resource like this and he really tends to appreciate the ideas, thoughts, and knowledge that I get from here.

DH knows and doesn't mind--I think because we aren't telling many people we are TTC and it's a place I can talk to others about this--then I'm not spilling the beans to people we know. One of my student workers knows, but doesn't know we are TTC yet--I tell him I use it because I'm curious about things for when we DO start. I have one other friend I've told about using TB, but that's about it.

I have 2 friends IRL who know I use the Bump.

I don't tell people IRL about it, and my DH just thinks it's silly. He doesn't really think it's ridiculous, but when I tell him I'm bumping he says "Whatever!" and laughs.

My DH also gives me a hard time when I'm on The Bump. Probably because I am on it sooo much! I have this habit of tilting the computer screen away from him a little when I log on, which kinda makes it more obvious that I am bumping!! He will say, "Are you on the hump, again!?"

My DH knows that I bump. He'll come home from work and if I'm on the computer ask me if I'm on my 'favorite website.'

Sometimes when something particularly noteworthy happens I'll tell him and be in an uproar, and that's when I sometimes get the side-eye. He's the only one IRL who knows, but he doesn't mind.

The only person that knows IRL that I bump is my sister...who is also the only one that knows we are TTC.

My husband knows I bump, but he has 2 or 3 football message boards that he frequents so he can't really say too much. He will tease me sometimes bc lately I've been a computer hog. He'll say, "Are you going to do anything else besides bump today???" Lol. I usually only talk to him about the boards when there's drama, which I think he occasionally finds amusing.

At first, H thought I was baby obsessed and would give me a hard time about it. Now he just accepts it and (like PP's) lets me tell him when I find things amusing and will occasionally find them amusing as well. I don't think he knows that I am on it as much as I am though. Embarrassed

He's super obsessed with football though - watches every football game and has the laptop on his lap watching ESPN Live with all of the live feeds of scores and highlights from games that he's not watching, is in 4 fantasy football leagues, so he really doesn't have any room to talk about "obessions". LOL

I have told DH about TB, but no one else. Like PP I wouldn't want anyone to read some of the stuff I post n here.

I try not to do it right in front of my DH, but ocasianally I will bump while on the laptop at the kitchen island, while DH is on the coach in the family room (which is open to the kitchen), so he knows that I am up to something. I guess I don't try that hard to hide it from him.

DH knows im obsessed with the Bump. Not only do I bump on here I ocassionally bump on my iPhone. although the app is not as good. and everyone is retarted. but something to waste time eh? DH appreciates the Bump because while im on here, hes watching the Lions and Im ok with that because Im being kept busy. Mine teases me about it, especially when I'm like "I have to meet AZ on chat at 8"! But he also hugged me tight when I was crying over the loss of a BOTB member.

DH doesn't care too much about me bumping. He's so into his fantasy football, online sports betting, and his football message boards that he really can't say anything to me! I don't bump too much during the week, mostly on the weekends.
