I'm looking to get DD a table and chairs set that she can sit at to color and play. She's just getting into coloring! I was just curious what kind of table and chairs anyone could recommend.
Thanks!!
DS has the L?TT table and chairs set from IKEA. You get one table and two chairs for $19.99. The top wipes clean pretty easily. My friend has had hers for 6 years and it's still in great shape.
We have a set from Step 2 that I found at a garage sale for $3. He doesn't actually sit and color at it though -- the chairs and table are toys in and of themselves. He pushes and carries the chairs all over the house, climbs on them, flips the table over and "surfs" on it, etc.
It is a very STURDY set, to say the least.

I was looking for something large enough that I would be comfortable sitting at(for when I get invited to her tea parties, craft projects,etc.). Good thinking because my dd often wants me to sit with her. I also wanted something that is wood, blends in with our furniture and will last several years. Also, I buy pbk's vinyl placemats--2 fit the table perfectly and protect it from everyday wear. I switch them out with the seasons/holidays...just to make it more fun for her. Good luck in your search:)
Re: What kind of play table and chairs do you have for LO?
We actually have a Little Tikes picnic table and it works great! I do like the IKEA ones too.

We have this one in espresso and love it...
