Hello! Anyone's LO have the LeapFrog My Pal Scout/Violet? I'm thinking of getting one for DS for his birthday or Christmas...

we have scout, my sis got my ds for his 1yr birthday. He really likes it. You can attach it to a computer and enter your son's name, fav animal, food, color (as if they have one this young!). My son really likes the songs and he carries him around and dances with him.

We have Violet and DD walks around with that thing all day long. It's pretty cool cuz you can personalize it to say your LO's name and their favorite things (like color, food, animal). Then you can update it when they get bigger and start learning new things. I honestly suck at that cuz DD got it for her bday and I've never updated it (oops Embarrassed

), but she doesn't know the difference. She just likes pressing the paws, which plays different types of music or Violet will say different things. It's cute.

Rebekah has had a Violet since she was 3 months old and still loves it! I'm not very good about changing the songs or updating it, but she still enjoys it.

DD has had Scout for about a month. She likes it on and off. She already has a stuffed mickey mouse that is her best friend and goes everywhere with her, so Scout has pretty stiff competition.

She likes the music, but she really likes to throw poor Scout on the floor, over and over and over again, while saying "Oh No!"

DD adores violet. in fact we were at barnes & noble the other day & there was a section of toys. she picked up violet in the package & said violet was still her favorite
