I'm going to stab someone

So I am really getting aggravated with the labor fakeouts. I had one about a week and a half ago. Then yesterday, I had lower back cramping ALL day. It got worse in the evening and I started getting cramps in my abdomen. The the contractions started. I had those for several hours. Took a half hour walk around the neighborhood to see if they would stop. They didn't and so I decided to sleep. Woke up about 3 a.m. and they were VERY strong. I had to grip my pillow and breathe through them. I thought "This is it."

I had about 4 really strong contractions. And then they stopped. WTF ute. WTF. I know I'm not overdue so it's not like he has to come ASAP. But I would appreciate not getting my hopes up. 

If this happens all weekend I'm going to LOSE MY MIND.

    I'm sorry you're having such a frustrating time. I'm frustrated for the opposite reason--we've had NO indications that LO will want to make his/her appearance any time soon. i'm just trying to remind myself that LO knows the best time for him/her to come out--not me! :) GL to you!

    That really sucks. I'm so not looking forward to this in the coming weeks! Hope it isn't to much longer for you, good luck!

    I hear ya! I'm so over these false labor signs I swear I'm about to cause physical harm to someone, maybe mil or my sister I'm not sure yet

    I hope things get moving for real for you soon!  If I don't find out at my 39 week appointment that I'm even a fingertip dilated I'll join you on the stabbing spree.

    It's totally frustrating.  I've been having bouts of painful contractions for the past two weeks and I'm done with them.  Come, don't come, just stop effing with my head.  Unfortunately, they're not doing a whole lot for my cervix either... bah!

    With DS, I didn't have anything until my water broke and even then, I needed pitocin to get a half decent contraction, so this is whole new territory for me...

    Anyhow, I hope it turns into something concrete for you soon!!!

    I hate the not knowing!  I'll get pains off and on here and there, and I think, was that something?  A contraction?  Not that I want LO to come yet, but I just wish there was some sure-tell sign that what I was feeling was labor related or just some random pain.  Good luck to you!  I hope all those contractions turn into something soon!
