I'm WAY overdue for this baby and still had not lost my mucus plug yet. I just figured I'd be one of those women who lost it during labor.

Well... it just fell out ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR as I stood up to wipe! I will never forget that splatting sound as long as I live... and neither will DH, as he was standing there when it happened.

It was sooooo gross, but exciting at the same time. It's one of those grossly funny stories you have to tell but can't put on FB, so I'm sharing it with you!

The same thing happened to me when I had DD. I was in hospital for PTL, was dozing off, felt like a pop from the inside, got up to pee, and out came the MP and my water broke as well. Like you never forgetting that splatting sound, I will never foget that popping feeling I had. GL to you and labor dust!

I thought I wouldn't lose mine either. Then, twice today and once yesterday, I got these intense quick contractions - but they were only low. So I got on the toilet and pushed because it almost felt like I had to poop... and each time, no poop, but I'd suddenly feel something slimy on my lady bits, wipe and this huuuuuuuuge snot thing would be on the toilet paper. I can't believe I've had three of these mucus plug pieces because each one was giant... how big can this plug be?

Now you've got me nervous that it'll happen again! LOL! It wasn't a very large piece that fell out. I hope DH is around again if there is a next time... the look on his face was priceless! Stick out tongue

Me too!! My mum almost missed it herself, which worries me

Had to share it with DH, cos we too pee/shower in front of each other and it would totally be something that would happen to us. He wasnt yucked out by the story, actually had to laugh, though think he might be if it happened to us for real!

I'd kill myself if I had to be that shy in front of my own DH. When we're alone, the only time I close the bathroom door is when I'm pooping. And that's more because of courtesy for him rather than modesty on my part...

Umm, me! I definitely don't pee in front of him... or anyone! Sometimes I leave the bathroom door open a crack but he can't see me. I wouldn't want to see him pee either.
