1st IVF Cycle

Hello Ladies!

I have not been on here in quite some time. DH and I have been TTC for 2 years [come December], we have had 5 unsuccessful rounds of Clomiphene and 2 unsuccessful rounds of injectables with IUI. We took a 2 month break and are now back in the circus of TTC.

Today was my baseline appointment and we are doing IVF this cycle. My husband is military and has a deployment coming up, we are hoping to conceive before he is do to leave. I start taking birth control today and begin my Lupron injections on October 29, so I still have a couple weeks before the injections begin.

I guess I am just reaching out to see if anyone out there is close to the same cycle as me? My husband will be training the whole month of November, out of state so it's just me and the four legged babies. My mom is going to come visit for a week but I may be needing her to come up again if DH will not be home come time for retrieval.

We're on almost the exact same timeline. I start my BCP's Sunday and will then start lupron the 31st. Cycle Buddies!!!

I'm sorry you had to come back, but I'm also glad you're here! It's a double-edged sword, right? (Do they even make non-double-edged swords? Ah... that's for another day!) Our timing is quite similar to yours... I started BCP last Friday (10/8), and I start Lupron either 10/18 or 10/19 (depending on when the box o'fun arrives at my doorstep!). So, I'm only about 1.5 weeks ahead of where you're at...

Hi! I just went for my Day 3 BW today and start BCP tonight. So, I am right there with you! It's my first IVF as well so we can go thru this together!
