I'm not a fan of matchy-matchy names for siblings. I have a brother 13 months older than I am and I was forever getting called his name in school (despite being a GIRL and looking completely different). I can't imagine if we had similar names - I also taught 3 brothers in 3 consecutive years: Christian, Cameron, and Carter. It was very annoying.

I have a friend who's DD#1 is Makenna and DD#2 is Avery, I think they make a cute sib set without being matchy-matchy (I hate it when parents try to be all cutesy and match names).
