mine would be if he was home!! silver-lining of deployment lol! i have a LOONG time to get ready for that, thank goodness. I would be terrified!
on my medical records, it says
"form of BC: deployment"
gotta love the military!
1. Thank your husband for his service! I am sad he is missing this part of his LO's life.
2. You deserve a gold star for doing this alone! Military wives are amazing AND overlooked.
3. At least the military has a sense of humor! Y'all are going to feel like it's your honeymoon when he comes home
we will be taking our honeymoon!! lol. we are planning on a cruise, just the two of us (well after he is able to bond with DD and spend time with his son and daughter, of course!)
so excited!! and i have a year to get back in pre-preg shape- perfect!
who am i kidding, i want to be in much better shape than before i got pregnant haha.

My DH totally was! I was so freaking nervous not only because I was afraid that it would hurt/it would feel different for him, but also because I feel about as sexy as an walrus.
I waited until I was cleared at 6 weeks - there's no way I was going to risk infection. Plus my dr and I spoke about BC.
DH was dying...but he knew he had to wait (he was told by the nurse in L&D and my doc). At 6 weeks, 1 day we finally had that time...and it was much better than when I was pregnant. We took it slow and I was ok, thankfully.

DH has been going nuts too. To be quite honest, I have been too. Pregnancy sex was no fun. Probably flammable, but we did a few days ago. Yikes!
I have not been technically cleared but she told me around 6 weeks would be a good time! We are almost to that time so we are going to give it a shot. I don't see the dr again until November...no WAY he is waiting until then
I told DH we had to wait the 6 weeks too. When I went in the dr. asked if we had and I told her no I made him wait for the visit she laughed and said I could tell him the dr said to wait a little longer if I wanted. Then she told me how this couple came in once and the guy was soooo happy to get the clear that they could have sex and that the guy was from China and he said there they tell you to wait 2 years before having it again, lol.

I may want to more than my H at this point. I can't wait to get the OK from my doc at 6 weeks. The only thing holding me back right now is fear of it hurting like hell.
