When you first decided to chart, did your DH support the idea, or did he get freaked out or think it was odd, need convincing, etc.? ?Did you start right away or just after the first few cycles?
I started charting to avoid about 3 cycles before TTC.
DH really doesn't care if I chart or not. I will answer his questions if he has them, but usually he couldn't care less about charting and that's fine by me.
My DH doesn't really want to get into anything aside from the getting lucky part. He doesn't care if I use ff, bbt, opk, etc - he just doesn't want to hear about it. That did not surprise me at all though, he's just that type of guy
My DH just wants to be left out of the planning. He doesn't care either way. His stance has always been that he wants to be surprised throughout the whole process.
So I didn't ask him what he thought when I started charting - I just did. He hasn't made any comments.
I started right away. I was coming off BCPs and wanted to make sure I was ovulating normally. Dh is a hypochondriac so thats all he really needed convincing-wise.
Actually, just last night I showed Dh my chart to prove ceratin "timing" points I had talked to him about earlier so he knew I wasn't just assuming or making stuff up.
When I first mentioned charting DH was kinda wierd about it, saying that he wanted to enjoy having sex and not feel like it was always scheduled. The morning I started though (really just to see if I was actually O'ing because I didn't want to freak him out) he reminded me to take my temp as soon as the alarm goes off, and has every day since.
I didn't even really mention it to him until we were already on cycle 5. I started charting during cycle 6 and he was all for it. We're both nerds, anyway, and since things were taking longer than we expected, it was time to "get scientific" as he said.

Our beautiful daughter was born in October 2009. Turns out she was quite the miracle. After two years of TTC, diagnosed with DOR. A couple of failed treatment cycles later, we decided to let go of our hope for more biological children and explore adoption.

DH is pretty sweet all the time though.
