My freezer stash is gone and last night my meeting ran late at work and the bottle I left for DH got eaten up quickly and apparently LO was still hungry. She did okay and I fed her as soon as I got home, but it got me thinking that it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a can of formula as an emergency back-up in cases like this. My question is, which formula is the best to have? Is one better than another and is there any that are more natural? HELP!
TIA!
Re: Which formula for emergency back-up?
i have a case of similac ready-made 4 oz. bottles on hand.... no mixing or measuring or anything, just for emergencies!
I haven't used any yet but i suck at pumping and wanted to have something on hand, in case something happens! I keep two in my diaper bag. LO has never fed from a bottle so I'm nervous to try it.
I got a ton of samples when I was prego. I used Similac since I had so many. My big tub was recalled and I got the $15 off coupan which I used for the ready made bottles, (since he tends to be nosey when nursing in public, these will come in handy!) He takes Enfamil well too. Its mostly preference and they don't differ much.
