How much has everyone gained at the 20 week mark? I know it's hard to compare, as we are all different and have different pregnancies, but I'm just curious. I have gained 14 lbs and feel like that is a lot. I'm short, 5'1, and started at 115, so 14 lbs seems like a lot for me. Just wondering what is going on w/ others.....

Re: Weight gain at 20 weeks......
I like this calculator to see how much to gain.

Like you said in your post, the weight gain is just such a varied subject that it is hard to compare. If you are overweight to start you are only supposed to gain around 15 pounds but if you are underweight they want you to gain 35-45 pounds.
My weight gain is a little complicated b/c I lost about 16 pounds the first 4 months due to severe hyperenemis. Now I have gained back all of that but 7 pounds so I am down from my prepregnancy weight but I have gained some weight..

As opposed to most posts about weight this post doesn't make me crazy; it's so silly when people post about weight gain without stating their starting weight or general size. It's pointless to compare anyway but in your case you wouldn't want to feel like you're gaining too much when unknowingly comparing yourself to someone who is overweight to begin with and says they only gained 6lbs.
Anyway, I am about 5'5 and started at 124 and gained about 19lbs by that point. In the 2nd tri it all evened out and your body is just doing what it needs to do.
Thanks for this calculator. It's awesome!
5'3" starting wait was 115 lbs. Have gained almost 4 lbs. Second pregnancy and I am 20 weeks 4 days today.
