Not much sleep, wierd wake up pattern w/ cramping

So last night i went to bed around 10, woke up at 12 and didn't go back to bed till 2. I had back cramping with some minor stomach pains along with it and just couldnt fall asleep, & plus the baby was moving like crazy. I drank some water and layed on my left side for a while as the doc. told me to do when i was having BH (which i figured i was). When I finally was able to get back to sleep at 2, i was then up every 1/2 hour exactly (give or take 1-3 minutes) with the same back pain w/ minor stomach pain. And everytime i had to pee, and when i peed my underwear was damp everytime i went (TMI im sorry) but if it was amnio fluid id still be leaking or at least way more than wat was wet...but it was clear...maybe it was sweat? but it didnt smell like it so idk...this continued till 7 this morning...the back/stomach pains come and go what is seeming like every 20-30 minutes, but once i get up and walk around it feels better but i still have that dull back ache.  Im totally confused but i dont want to call the doc b/c ive already had 2 false alarms and im trying to depict whats really BH and whats not b4 i call again...just wondering if any of u other ladies have experience nights just like this??

The only reason im a bit concerned is b/c last time with my son, i woke up every hour on the hour with a stomach pain just like now but w/ mostly back pain, but i had broken my water last time so its a bit different...anyway, any advice or sharing in the matter would be greatly appreciated :) TIA Ladies!

  • I experienced pretty much exactly what you described i think around week 36. It's probably just a false alarm, especially since the pains ease when you walk around. If you're really concerned though, don't feel bad about calling your Dr. It will give you peace of mind if it's just a false alarm, and if it really is something to worry about then your Dr. will know.

Most of the time when I pee, my underwear will get damp. I guess it's just the leftover pee that I couldn't manage to get out but it leaked on its own. Panty liners are pretty much my best friend right now. Also, if you think you are leaking amnio fluid, a panty liner will catch it and they can test the fluid. It's probably just pee though.

    Good luck!

  • I had nearly the same issue last night. My stomach feels so tight - and I'm assuming that's BH...but I had more cramping than usual. When I sit up/sit still they go away. Just take it easy...and if you're really concerned, I echo other posters - call a doctor. GL!
