DS loves being in the Moby, but as he's getting bigger, I'm thinking we need something more substantial and I was thinking about an Ergo. I have a Bjorn but as my title says, I hate it. I don't like how much weight is put on my shoulders/back and just find it uncomfortable. I want to be able to wear him on the front of me or on my back. Any suggestions? If you suggest the Ergo, which one do you have?
TIA!
(I'm making a xmas list to give to my parents, so I wouldn't even be wearing him in this until he's about 6-7 months old if that makes a difference)
Re: Carrier Suggestion for a mom who loves the Moby and hates the Bjorn
We are starting to use our Ergo and really loving it! I still love my moby, but DD is starting to get heavy!
I'd also look into a Baby Hawk or Becco. I want them both
The girls on th Attachment Parenting board are really helpful and knowledgable about carriers...

I'll echo the positive comments about the Ergo. We (particularly my husband) love it. My favorite is my woven wrap... it's the same idea as a Moby only it's not stretchy so it's very supportive all the way through toddlerhood. So if you liked the wrapping style of the Moby then I definitely suggest a woven. They're very comfortable... and, not to mention, beautiful!
This blog has TONS of info on different carriers. As PP mentioned, check out the AP board too!
