We are at our wits end... I just spent an hour or so reading the first 4 chapters and he sounds like he is describing our LO to a T. It has been almost a month since LO had his first cold and has not been able to put himself to sleep anymore. He is miserable during the day because of being tired and so are my H and I.

I know it is not for everyone- wish us luck!

GL! We did Ferber with DS and I am not exaggerating when I say that I believe it was the best parenting decision I have made thus far. You are right, it's not for everyone, but it was definitely for us and it literally changed our lives. We went from getting up 4-5 times per night with DS to being able to lay him in his crib at 8:00, shut the door and not hear from him again until 7ish the next morning.
