Hi, I've been totally MIA between work and our home computer crashing. I have no updates. Still prego, still working, feeling fine, and waiting patiently for Elise to make an appearance. I have an OB appt today so we'll see if there's some progress. I really hope not to go past 40 weeks and I really don't want to be induced. I'll keep you posted on what the doc says later today.
How's everyone else doing? Have I missed any births? Share your updates!
Re: Share your Pregnancy/Births Updates
OMG any day now! I can't believe it. Time is flying for us all. Can't wait to here all about Elise's arrival.
My boys are still snuggled in, growing. I'm the one growing impatiently, more b/c of the discomfort... super swollen, and uncomfortable to sleep. We are scheduled for 11/11, if they don't arrive sooner!

Awwww! GL, Jackie!
IDK if you guys worry about this, but I'm kind of concerned about my water breaking at work, especially, in front of kids. I don't want to traumatize them, lol.
I do sometimes worry about that, especially when the babies start moving and I feel them "down there." I have my coworkers freaked out that they have to rush me to the hospital if it does break! LOL
But in actuality, only 10% of women's water breaks outside the hospital (per my birthing class).

Ah, I'm so excited for us all! Jackie, 11/11 is so close! Adri, I'm really hoping not to go past 40 weeks, too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for us both!
My update is that I was 2cm at my appointment on Monday afternoon, and holy cow, that internal exam was not fun. Way worse than the previous week when I wasn't dilated. I had some bleeding right away and some minor spotting is still lingering. I had lots of cramping and felt generally awful from my appointment until I woke up this morning. I'm grateful to be feeling better, but I was getting hopeful some serious progress was closer than next week or the week after!
Patience is not my virtue.
Woman, you are scaring me now! Not sure when my first internal is... and hoping it isn't today! : *(

Sorry! I did feel a little traumatized because my first couple of internals felt like nothing more than a normal pelvic exam. It was unexpected. I'm already dreading my appointment on Tuesday because I fear it will be more of the same.
Everyone is different, though, I know lots of women don't have any of these issues after an internal. I'm sending you good vibes.
Wow Adri, your sooo close. Yippie!!
Jackie you are too.. 11/11. I like that! It will be here before you know it? are you all ready?
mjz, sorry about the internal. Mine never really hurt but they were a bit uncomfortable.
Im hanging.. I still haven't begun to do anything (ie room, buying anything) but I do plan on getting on the ball soon enough. I know with the holidays the next couple months will pass quickly..
Yay! So excited for all of you!!
Adri, hopefully you go on your own but in the event that Elise decides to camp out the induction wasn't so bad.
Jackie, if the boys are born on 11/11 then they will turn 1 on 11.11.11

Adri and MJ you are so close!! Really, I know you must be so impatient to meet your little ones, but truly do enjoy these last few days!! So sorry your internal was no fun MJ! And don't let your guard down..sometimes when you are feeling your best is when labor comes with a vengeance...I felt amazing the day before going into labor so it can really happen at any point. And Adri, I understand your fear of your water breaking at school. Chances are it will not break as most women don't experience this before labor starts, and even if it did, it's usually not going to be this huge gush where everyone will notice. lol And I agree that an induction was not so bad...had one with my 1st and although it's nice to go on your own, from a pain perspective it was about the same. Jackie: less than a month for you too, hope it treats you well and your boys will be here before you know it! And Liz, have fun decorating, setting up, buying for your little one.
Good luck to all of you!

I love reading all these reports.
Amazing how close you all are. So excited to see so many little munchkins, joining our families. Woohoo! Best of luck on all the obgyn apts today as well.
I actually just got back from my perinatal and everything still looks great. Cervix is at 3.5 and babies are measuring up really well. Weighing 1 pound 3 oz each. Nurse did a quick 4D scan for us to see our babies faces today and surprisingly enough, our daughter was sleeping and allowed herself to be seen. Our boy on the other hand only gave us a back head shot and refused to flip around. lol It's ok, they have their days I guess.
Jackie, that is exactly what I told the Nesties at our GTG at my house last year. And then an hour after I said that......my water broke...at 39 weeks.
What they are, are jodedores! I went in for the NST scan (measure heartbeats for a long period of time), and OMG it took literally 5 nurses to get even a remote measurement! LOL B finally got heard, but then A was playing hard to get. They are too much... and exactly like dad I tell you.
Glad you were able to get a 4D shot already! We still have yet to get one of the boys... and by the next appt, I'm afraid they will be way too big to see much. Oh well!

LOL @ jodedores! I have a friend due on the same day and her baby was upside down, then decided to go into the breech position had a c-section scheduled, and now is upside down again, lol.
Well, my OB said yesterday that cervix is still closed =( Baby is getting closer to cervix, though, and I know it can be today or another week from now. He mentioned he could give me a note to get out of work, lol, but I declined it. I'll just take it easy next week if Elise isn't here yet. Although, my new coworkers swear she's coming this weekend. We'll see....
