we are just getting DD a bond and then a few toys for the "experience" of her first Christmas and for photos. We are definitely not going overboard (if I can control myself) haha.
Money, a toy box (because I am going to need somewhere to put all the toys she will get) a few collectables from the disney store for her nersery and some clothes from Ralph Lauren (but thats really more for me she could care less.)
Most important of all we are breaking condo rules and getting a real tree. My fur babies will think it is a gift for them :P
We are getting an exersaucer and a jumperoo. We'll get one probably in Nov and the other for Christmas. We would be getting it anyway. I'm also getting her Beauty and the Beast, but that's for me too

Almost this exactly! I also got her and her cousin matching onesies with attached tutus and I'm getting her fake Uggs.
Technically, we aren't getting DS anything. He's our first child and we don't feel the need to get him gifts. We are going to my in law's house for Christmas, however. So I put some things on our BRU registry which include a few toys, some summer related toys, clothes, a high chair, and some solid food related items such as spoons. We didn't want my husband's family to go nuts with the toys since he won't remember his first Christmas and doesn't need a ton of toys right now.
We are getting her one "big" item (probably a jumperoo or excersaucer), a few small toys, and then a chunk of money into her college fund. She won't know that we didn't spend a ton and will appreciate the fund when she is older.
I was going to get DD the jumperoo we didn't get at the shower, but now grandma wants to buy it. I am going to buy her the sign language DVDs I want her to watch. Since she will be so small, I look at it more as an excuse for me to buy something I want. Other than that, I will get her an ornament and possibly put some extra money in the savings account. Everyone else will spoil her rotten I am sure!
Well, it's really for the whole family, but we just signed up for the Disney movie club to start a movie collection for DS, and we decided we'd get them on blu-ray and get a player for Christmas. Since he's so little and won't need much of anything else, it works out well.

This. Probably a few necessities too that we'll wrap for our own amusement. Definitely getting her a stuffed Olivia the Pig

We are getting DD lots of children's books and DVD's. She won't enjoy them right now, but all the packages will be nice under the tree and they will entertain her and us soon enough! I'm sure she will be greatly spoiled by the rest of the family so we'll make sure she has things we'll need later on!!
So far for DS's Christmas list I have books, a membership to the Children's Museum and a membership to the zoo. He has 2 older boy cousins and is set on clothes and toys until he's at least a year. I'd rather spend the money/gifts on experiences and think he would enjoy the museum, zoo, and stories as he gets closer to 6 mos-1 yr.
I am going to get him a stocking and an ornament for our tree. Maybe an outfit or two, but he is still too small to have any idea what is going on. Besides...I have a feeling the grandparents are in a spoiling mood! We have tried to let the grandparents know that we don't want them to go crazy with toys (we really don't have the space for them) and would appreciate money for schooling.

Re: What are you getting LO for Christmas?

A high chair - we left that to buy so it could be under the tree. MIL is going to get him his exersaucer.
Mostly it will be clothes and some board books. We're waiting until next year to go nuts.

A Blu-ray player

This is exactly what we're doing.
