I was expecting every bit of 16-17.. but 18 surprised me a little.

We've also got our first chomper! Early!!

WOWEE! I was expecting DS to be 17 lbs, but he was only 16 lbs 10 oz. Of course, had I fed him before the appointment he probably would have weighed another 5 oz. Wink

Yep! I felt the tooth last Friday. You can actually see where it has come through the gum already now. I kept thinking he was drooling an awful lot.. but thought it was way too early. Guess he proved us wrong. Guess we just start feeding him steaks!

Yeah.. we get comments all the time.. Gets annoying at times. He weighed 7.1 at birth. Celebrated his 4mo birthday on the 10th of this month.

I just went and bought him a bunch of warmer clothes in the 12 month size. I think we somehow missed the 6 month clothes sizes.

DD is 18lb 2 oz as of Tuesday. (A little late for her 4 month appt, but still...) And with the amount she's drooling, i wouldn't be surprised if there was a chomper on it's way!

When DS was 4 months old he was 20lbs 6oz and 27in.

Wow! Our LO has his 4 month apt and we're guessing around 18lbs since he doesn't miss a meal!

That's great about the new tooth! You'll have to start thinking about the tooth fairy now!

Sounds like my LO. He was ~19lbs when I weighed him a week and a half ago. I also think he's getting a tooth. He's about 26". I also just got him a bunch of winter clothes in 12mo size. Glad to know there are plenty of others dealing with "he's huge!!" comments. I don't really mind, but sometimes it gets a little old.

Logan was 18 lb 9 oz and 27 in at 2 1/2 mo! I weighed him on my scale at home last week and he was about 21 #. He has his next check up next week and I can't wait to see how big he has gotten.

DS was 18 lbs 10 oz at his 4 month appointment last week, but no teeth yet. Strangers always think he is older than he is based on his size or make comments about his chubbiness.

my son was 10lbs 5 oz at brith and at 4 months he was 19lbs 5 oz.
