Pull up to the computer. May I offer you some ginger ale?
How are you girls doing today? Any better or worse?
Re: morning sickness check in
I was doing REALLY good for about a week and thought HA!
... and then karma came over today and kicked me in the teeth.
right now, SO SICK.
MAKE. THE. BOAT. STOP.
I think I'm starting to head into the "better" zone. I woke up not feeling like I was going to puke, unfortunately my husbands morning breath changed that. But I felt pretty good after, was thinking about not taking a Zofran, but since I was going to my daughters ballet class and I usually get a little nauseous when I drive I didn't want to chance it. Took one and have mostly felt good today.
Last night, we went out to dinner and for the first time in a long time I was able to eat a normal amount of food, so that seemed like a good sign too.
Greeeaaaaat. We're exactly a week apart... so that gives me GREAT hope! LOL
I had one good day. Last Saturday, I had a completely non-nauseous day, which was perfect timing since I had to travel and attend a wedding. Then...
Since I have never ever had a non sick day before week 18 in a pregnancy, I started to panic that night like a 1st tri newbie. I got a bad case of the oh-no-I-don't-feel-pregnant-so-maybe-I'm-not feeling. Couldn't sleep that night I was so worried. All fears were resolved the next morning when I went back to puking like a champ. IF I ever get a good day again, I promise to just be grateful!
I'm having a particularly awful day, which can be summed up in my response to the poster below who is "Loving every minute of it."
Oh well. I'm whiny. I don't care.
HA! lol.
I'm snacking on some sugar free shortbread cookies right now and that seems to be helping.
I am feeling MUCH better. I try to eat small meals throughout the day and drink a lot of water and that seems to be helping.
I'm horrible, though (thank goodness for small blessings I guess) I haven't thrown up yet. I'm just nauseous 24 hours a day, dry heave once in awhile and have extreme food/drink adversion. I'm mildly concerned that I'm not eating enough but I eat what I can when I can. Though for dinner last night that meant plain breadsticks little piece by little piece and that's it.
I'd just love to find one thing that I do not hate the minute I put it in my mouth.
