I am going to get DH a card, but also thought about a small gift especially since he has been so stressed with work lately. I thought he could use a little special attention. Any suggestions?

Chocolate is always a nice gift, in my opinion. Or maybe a bottle of wine? A restaurant gift card for a restaurant that he likes that you could use together on a date night? Or, something smaller/less expensive - an IOU for a massage from you?

I agree with gift card for date night or a nice bottle of wine or his fav beverage. Scotch or whatnot. Something so he can sit back and relax. It's my favorite when I get stressed.

All of these suggestions sound crude.

I don't have any suggestions. If I hadn't gone to Kroger this week and seen the balloons and flowers, I'd have had no idea Sweetest Day was coming up.

I am so glad I posted this. This entire post has me cracking up!!

Yea, my belly is so big right now that when my doc took my measurements this week, she immediately ordered an ultrasound and told me I have a big baby. LMAO Nice. Thanks. I didn't really think that I was that big. I am going to have to get pics out from my first pregnancy. This is coming from the doc that always thought I measured 2 weeks ahead with DD too, so I am taking it with a grain of salt, but who is going to turn down an u/s?!
