DH has to go to Ireland for work...his company usually flies him business class but he was able to trade in that ticket for two coach tickets...so we have free flights! He's leaving Sat. the 16th, I join him Wed. the 20th, and we're staying until Tues. the 26th.
When DH leaves this Sat. it will be 7DP3DT. My mom comes that day, and stays 'til Tues. Then on Wed., I have my beta. We've decided I won't POAS, b/c by the time I could he'd be in Ireland anyway. So, basically, I'll be getting the beta phone call Wed., then hopping on a plane either way that night.
If it's a BFN, I will get wasted for the next 5 days. If it's a BFP, I'll most likely have to have betas taken there and do PIO there, so I'm preparing ahead of time for that possibility w/ Rxs and all the instructions re: the time change.

Hopefully you will be celebrating in Ireland!!
I went to Ireland a few years ago and loved it. Will your DH be in Dublin for work? Are you going to travel around the country?
Me - DX Hashimoto's Disease, Hypothyroid, Rheumatoid Arthritis
DH - DX Azoospermia - Sertoli Cell Syndrome
DS-IUI #1-4 BFN IVF #1 - BFP! It's a boy!!!
Yes, he'll be in Dublin. I think we're going to spend a day in Dublin, drive to Galway and spend a couple days there and in Connemara/the Cliffs of Moher, then we might make our way back to Dublin or stop somewhere in County Clare.
Any suggestions?

Oh, you are going to have such a great time! Those were the places we hit when we were there.
We were only in Galway for one day and it POURED while we were there. So, we went on a bus tour. It was a great idea for a rainy day. I don't think we got the full Galway experience b/c of the rain.
By far, I loved western Ireland the best. If you go to the Cliffs of Moher, I suggest walking up the cliffs, but also taking a boat tour. It's amazing to see it from both sides. I'd also check out the Burren. Also, I found the Ailwee caves to be fascinating too. They have a guided tour there.
Have a great time! I can't wait to hear about the trip and hopefully the BFP!!!
I hope you have a great time and it is a celebration of your BFP!
I will be doing the same thing - I should be flying out to Cabo the day after my beta for this cycle.
Try to relaz, forget about the IF, and enjoy your DH and Ireland. My DH and I were jsut there for two weeks in Spetmeber and we LOVED it. The people are so nice. We mostly avoided the cities and were out in the countryside and it was awesome. We were convinced we would get pregnant while we were there but it was a BFN but it was sure fun trying :-) We were joking in each place we visited/tried taht we would name the baby after it. We were visiting Killorglin and felt so very sorry for ur baby that would grow up named Killorglin! Ha ha ha. One of our favorite places was Ballyliffin and we of course started talking about "Baby Ballyliffin" so that name has stuck. Its always "lets see what the RE has to say about why Baby Ballyliffin hasn't made her appearance yet" or "did you take your vitaming today? We want Baby Ballyliffin to be strong". Its pretty funny. I am convinced if we are ever fortunate enough to have a baby that we will have his/her nickname be Ballyliffin - we just won't tell him/her how we came up with the name :-)
Enjoy your trip!
History of IF and 2.5 years TTC. The day we were to start our first IUI we received a call that changed our lives forever and 10 month old Olivia joined our family. Shortly thereafter we got a surprise BFP and baby 2 is due July 5, 2012
I am jealous. Ireland is first on my list for trips abroad. Maybe next year for us.
I am keepign my fingers crossed that you will have no reason to drink
