I'm on Depo-Provera, aka The Shot.

I was told by the hospital that it is safe to take while BFing, but then I had heard some side effects that I have yet to research their validity. In addition, DH thinks he's a doctor and simply says "I don't want you on the shot. It's bad for you. I'll pull out." Um, good one.

Paraguard. I hated bcp's and I don't feel safe enough with just condoms. Dh refuses the V so iud it is. Insertion sucked!!! But that's not the norm...I am a bug fan so far! I font even know it's there and it's paid for.

BCP (Yaz). I used to never forget for the 7 years I was on it before DS, but now I have to set an alarm on my phone to remember.

I was on BCP- Yaz right after I had him (well 6 weeks after), but the hormones made me pissy---apparently I can't have estrogen based BC. So I got on the Depo shot. And I haven't stopped bleeding since... so know wonder its considered BC. I'm not getting another one. We barely have sex, and if/when we do we will use a condom. I really wouldn't care if I got pregnant anytime soon, although I would hope to wait until DS is out of diapers. But I miss pregnancy, so I wouldn't mind.

I am on the mini-pill but I am getting Paragard in a few days. I am BFing and wanted better protection. I will probably go on Mirena when I am done BFing.
