If you are thinking about asking to join this group?please read:

This is an Advanced TTTC group those who have been trying 3+ years and/or have multiple failed IUI?s /IVFs, etc. I just ask that everyone please use good judgment when asking to join...in other words, if you are still in the IUI stage or have been on this journey less than two years, this is probably not the group for you.
 
There is no doubt that this whole TTTC process is painful, but I also do believe that there is a very special kind of support that this specific group can offer to each other, and it is intended as a "safe haven" for those of us who are in that bottom 1% of the bottom 1%.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Thanks for the GL wishes Worms!  I am 5dt3dt and am losing my mind completely at this point!!

    My fav fall-only food would have to be anything involving apples...apple pie, apple cider...and of course turkey/gravy/mashed taters for T-giving...but I guess that can be winter-ish too. 

    TTC in 2008. Stage II/III endo, Hashimotos hypothyroid, low morph (3%).
    2 cycles Clomid/Ovidrel/TI/Crinone=BFN.
    IUI #1 - 4 Follistim/Ovidrel/IUI/Crinone = BFN.
    IVF #1 - Antagonist w/ ICSI 4/10. 17 retrieved, 5DT of 2, BFN :(
    IVF #2 - Long Lupron w/ ICSI 6/10. 15 retrieved, 3DT of 2, BFFN!!
    Lap 7/21/10
    IVF #3 - Clomid/Antagonist w/ ICSI 10/10. 14 retreived, 3DT of 3, BFP 10/20 but m/c. No HB 11/15/10 - D&C 11/17/10.
    FET - 2 blasts, 1 survived the thaw. Transfer 2/19. Beta #1 3/1 375, Beta #2 3/3 885, Beta #3 3/8 4261, Beta #4 3/11 9005. U/S 3/8 1 sac 1 yolk, U/S 3/16 1 heartbeat 114bpm!

     

    James born Oct. 24th 2011 via c-section at 38 weeks!

    First, I apologize for once again being MIA from the board lately!

    And congrats to K8 & Auburn!!

    QOTD: My mom makes pumpkin cake for Thanksgiving and it is delicious!! No real weekend plans, just hanging out with DH at home!

    Update on me: I started acupuncture last night and it gave me a lot to think about. Still going through our hail mary IUI. My RE had me on BCPs for two weeks, so as soon as AF arrives after those, I'll start Follistim.

    QOTD:  We have an engagement party to go to this weekend.  Otherwise, nothing big planned!

    Update:  Tomorrow is my last BCP.  Then I start the patch protocol for IVF#3.  So, for the first month, I will be not be doing anything until cd24.  The second month (sometime in Nov) I'll start stims!

    Congrats to K8 and Auburnbride. So very happy for both of you:)

    I am currently on "O" watch. Once I get my LH surge I will start the Climara patches. I guess I'll start stimming around Halloween. DH and I have it narrowed down to 4 donors for our backup sperm. I am letting him make the final decision and we will order it on monday. I am so nervous but a little excited too. I wonder if this is what we need to get our baby.....My pg test will probably be around Thanksgiving so I am wondering if I am setting myself up for a nervous breakdown. My BIL and his 5 month pg wife will be staying with us the whole weekend and my sister's 6 mo. pg SIL will be at Thanksgiving dinner.

    My favorite thing to eat only in the fall is any type of apple dish. I love savory/sweet dishes and I have tons of pork or chicken dishes with apple. I only make them from Sept-Thanksgiving though.

    Hi ladies.  I was hoping I could join you.

    I have my general crap in my siggie but I should add that DH was dx azoo March of 2009 so that is what led us to IVF.  After our 2nd cycle they think I may have an egg quality issue also, it's just hard to tell what is keeping our embryos from growing given we know there is a sperm problem.

    We were going to start IVF #3 with 1/2 ds (yes, I'm so stubborn that I want to try again with dh's even though we can guess it won't work :P).  I'm hoping that even if it doesn't work, the side by side comparision will help us figure out if DE with dh's sperm would worth a try or not. 

    I had a repeat SHG last week since it had been a year from the last and I now have a fibroid that I'll have to have removed. After that we'll have to wait 3 months for everything to heal :(   So, now we're kind of reevaluating if we're going to stick with our plan or not.

    QOTD:  My IL's are coming this weekend and DH is running his first marathon!

    I don't really have a favorite fall food but I love the seasonal drinks that are available this time of year!

    ME:  I am currently on BCP and will probably start stimming early November.  I can't believe this is starting again but starting to get really excited. 

    QOTD:  Going out to Pennsylvania to hang with the family in a corn maze...:(  (a little frightened of that)  Apple picking and hiking in the woods.  I LOVE sweet potatoes, sweet potato pie, and all things sweet potato....oh and pumpkin flavored things.  I guess I like orange food.

    I've been feeling angry and frustrated lately. No October cycle for me:(. DH had his surgery f/u appt. with SA on 10-6. REs nurse assured me that we'd get the SA results by 10-9 and we could then proceed.Well, right after the SA we were told that they are doing genetic testing, so it'll be three weeks and then we have to do another phone consult with the uro on 10-29. We were NEVER told genetic testing would be done!! I doubt it's the REs nurses fault, the communication between uro's staff and REs staff have always sucked. I'm just sick of all the curve balls. Sometimes I feel like they prefer that I'm uninformed.
