Target nursing tanks-sizing ?

So I've read these are the best nursing tanks for the money! I want to order some online, there is no Target anywhere near me to try them on, so I am not sure of the sizing. I tried on some of the Best Form Nursing tanks on at Walmart and hated the way fit....super tight and not soft at all. Any advice you have to help me choose a size would be great! I noramally wear a L or XL in tanks, what is your experiance with these tanks?

Re: Target nursing tanks-sizing ?

  • I think they are probably pretty true to size - I wear a 34A pre-pregnancy and the smalls worked well with room to spare (and easily worked when I was up to a small C.  They are looser in the tummy area than other tanks I've tried so more forgiving for the post partum period.  Mine have held up really well too - I still sleep in them and they are in good shape after almost two years of constant use.

  • I also love these tanks.  They seem to fit true to my size.  I normally wear a M, but I bought a L before I delivered thinking that I might need a larger size.  The L fits, but it's pretty loose and roomy.  The M that I bought after delivery fit perfectly.

  • I normally wear xl and got 2x.  They are snug on me, but after my milk came in I went up 2 cup sizes.  I would say go bigger rather than smaller.

  • Sounds good! I think I'll go a little bigger just in case I get bigger, which I'm sure I will, when my milk comes in...I would rather have them a little roomy than tight! Thanks again!

  • i was between a xsp and a sp pre-pregnancy and i bought a Med, in the nursing tanks. but i gained alot and havent lost very much
  • I'd definitely go a little larger.  I normally wear a L/XL and have a 42DD cup.  The XL tanks were just a little snug but the XXL was just right.  I heart my Target tanks and wear one every single day.

  • I was a size 6 (Small) pre-pg, and the S tanks fit me great after about 4 wks pp. At first I got the medium, and it was very loose, so I just returned them and exchanged them for small.

  • I love these tanks too.  I wear them around the house and to bed.  I agree with PPs that they are pretty true to size.  I am a small C and got a medium so they wouldn't be too tight to sleep in.  I think they fit well and have held up great over the past 8 months.  I personally feel like the belly is too loose to wear under other clothes (besides a hoody).

  • I hated these tanks - I don't like the nursing bras/tanks with the cutouts for my boobs - I don't see the point, and they itch and make me sweat.  I got an XL and I wear a size 36F and it fit pretty good, but was pretty loose around the tummy.

I prefer the Motherhood tanks - soft, supportive, and about the same price.

  • Glamourmom nursing bra tanks! By far the most versatile, stylish and comfortable nursing bra tanks I've ever worn! I wear them out paired with denim, skirts or with cardigans and warmer months I wear them out alone.

I also love the fact that they offer longer length which is the current trend. The sizing runs like a bra size - check out their chart for accurrate sizing.
