Lets stop the Witch Hunt

My post yesterday seemed to unintentionally stir the drama pot. I still stand by my position that comments in a recent post were ridiculous; however, it seems that many posters are on a witch hunt to have certain posters banned. Admittedly, I wish emjay and cruelsound were still here. Unfortunately, they are not right now. I just think some of the recent posts boarder on the line of cyber bullying. Yes, I am being serious. We all have every right not to like posters - I have a number that drive me crazy. However, going out of your way to create posts to personally attack individual bumpies is a bit much. If anyone has an issue with a poster, just keep reporting it - but lets stop with the hate posts. It?s getting a little lame and hateful.

I have never tried it. That feature was not here when I first joined the bump, so I always forget it even exists. Who am I kidding, I barely know the abbreviations let alone how to use the bump. I cannot even correctly post a pic.

No, I haven't but somehow that does not surprise me, given that the bump seems pretty technically challenged.

No, I haven't but somehow that does not surprise me, given that the bump seems pretty technically challenged.

I tried to block Sasha, it failed miserably, I chose to just ignore her after that.

I have to say it is very refreshing to see your post. I don't post a whole lot myself but I do read a lot of the message boards and it shocked me how hateful some people could be. What ever happened to the old lesson mothe's used to teach (at least mine did) if you don't like someone, just stay away from them. I came to this site to get advice from other expecting moms and women who already been there. Quite honestly the rudeness of some people left me in awe. Not everyone has to agree with everyone else's opinion but let's be ladies and let's be more tactful and kind to one another.

The block feature really doesn't work properly. Not that this should be surprising because the bump is incompetent at running a website that actually works. Since so many other message board sites manage it, I'm not sure why TB finds it so hard but whatever.

I am not offended and am not being bullied. But if you knew what was going on, you would understand where this post came from. Also, the recent laws on cyber bullying can apply to message boards - so facebook and email are not the only possibilities.

All the recent drama is really boring to me. Don't get me wrong, I love this board and it was extremely entertaining before the prolonged unnecessary cat fights and bannings. But the same subjects are consistently being talked about for days on end and it's making me want to rip my hair out.
