The last couple of days I've finally had some cravings- for some strange things! First I wanted dill pickles wrapped in cream cheese and turkey (where did I come up with that?) and then today I was thinking a cream cheese bagel with tomato and salt and pepper on top sounded divine. I usually heavily crave sweets and sugar just hasn't been sounding good to me at all lately... guess I definitely need to have some cream cheese on hand since all my cravings are centered around it (I can eat cream cheese, right?).
Re: Craving salty things and cream cheese!
I think cream cheese is fine.
I haven't had any major cravings, except that I cant get enough buffalo wing sauce. But I have not had an appetite for sweets either, and at a celebration at work yesterday a bite of a cupcake made me nauseous. I guess eating healthy wont be as hard as I thought.

I was craving a bagel with cream cheese too.... I went to a conference this morning, and right as I showed up, Einstein Brothers was being delivered--SCORE!
What I have really been craving is Cool Ranch Doritos. I probably have them once a year at most, but they sound so, so, good! One of these days I will crack and buy a bag! Oh, and also fruit smoothies
I've heard that often a craving means your body wants some nutrient in the food, maybe all the cream cheese cravings are due to an increased need for calcium.

I've heard the same....when I was pregnant with DD, I craved OJ, bananas, and potatoes (but I also craved coca-cola and bacon)
I feel like it's kind of early for me to be having cravings, but a bagel with cream cheese and tomato sounds kind of amazing right now
We call them pickle wraps...I ate them sometime before i was pregnant but just cant get enough of them when I am pregnant!!! Cream cheese is pasturized so your good!!!!

This is me exactly! I could care less about sweets right now-but bring on the salt! I'm trying to be careful, but chips and popcorn sound so good right now.
I also haven't eaten beef in about 15 years, and was just thinking last night that a cheesburger sounds great....!
