For FF moms.

If you are choosing to FF or suplement with formula, I was wondering if any of you would be going with enfamil or similac? If niether, which brand are you choosing? Also, does your hospital provide the diaper bag/sling and formula samples/coupons? Will you be taking one home?

    I don't know what my hospital provides us with, but I think the majority supply you with similac samples. 

    We're planning on using similac, just because I couldn't take any other formulas as an infant (due to allergies) so I'm taking precautions by using what worked for me as a baby first before venturing off.

    In the hospital I think they offer similac or enfamil, so we will probably use similac while we are there and once we get home, switch to Parent's Choice brand.

    DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
    DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption

    My pediatrician said he starts with Enfamil. If there is a problem with the baby on Enfamil, he will have me try out other brands. Our hospital will use what the pediatricians recommend. I'm not sure about what else the hospital will provide. We haven't gone on our L&D tour yet.

    We're planning on using Similac. Our hospital gives a bunch of samples to take home, and I got the diaper bag/sling thingy with some samples in it from my u/s office. I think I may be getting another one from my ob's office. I'm all for the free samples and coupons! Big Smile
