Question for those that have had your first Sonogram

in 1st Trimester
So I went into my first sonogram today and baby is fine, great heartbeat ect. However they found a cyst on the umbilical cord. Has anyone had this problem? The Dr. told me not to worry and that it will go away, but no one I know has had this problem and I'm a little (a lot) nervous until my next sonogram in a few weeks to make sure it is gone.

    I have a friend who had this and her baby is fine.  She was born July 30th, happy and completely healthy.  My friend had a subchorionic hematoma as well.  It all went away as her pregnancy progressed.

    I have a 2 inch cyst on my left ovary right now. It is very painful and I honestly thought I had a tubal at first due to the pain. I have a history of these, though. I have had 5 surgeries, removal of a couple, including the removal of partial ovary due to large cyst... etc etc. Don't worry, it seems to be more normal than we all think!

    I wouldn't worry too much about it. My sis had a cyst while she was pregnant and she had a healthy pregnancy. I am 8 weeks pregnant and I have a cyst on my left ovary. It does seem like it is quite common.

    Most females when you ovulate get a cyst on your ovary...

    I wouldnt worry about the cyst on the umbilical cord if the drs are saying it will be okay :D
