Staycee ... question for you

You're with KP right?  Did you see Murray?  I've got an appointment to see a OBGYN for an annual and a referral at the end of the month.  I forget who the OB is, but she's by the Sand Canyon hospital.

I've seen a RE outside of KP that I will go with if Murray says IVF.

Just wondering about your experience.

    I love Dr. Murray.  She's like one of those people I could easily be friends with - I guess our personalities are similar.  I also really really like Marci (CNM) on their staff.   She was so wonderful to me this last time around (well both times actually, but she totally remembered me this time).   I was truly sad to be released from their care this last time around - knowing I'd most likely never be going back.    I didn't get to see Dr. Murray with this pregnancy since she was "out"  (vaca or something), so Marci took care of me - getting my betas and having me in for 3 u/s's before releasing me.

    I hope she's able to help you.   It kinda sucks that they don't do any IVF's.   I remember that freaked me out initially with the thoughts of "what will we do if IUI's don't work!"

    If you go, tell them I said Hello!

    Thanks, Staycee! 

    The OBGYN I'm seeing is Dr. Kang.  I'm hopeful she's going to refer to Dr. Murray.  I'm nervous as Dr. Werlin has said our best option is IVF, so it will be interesting to see what Dr. Murray says.  I've heard wonderful things about her.

    I think everyone's best option is IVF - aren't the success rates higher than anything else? If KP covers IUI then it would be worth trying before pulling out the big guns, esp. if you aren't OOP on IUI but are on IVF, you know?

    Dip,

    That's the exact reason I'm going through KP.  See what she says.  I figure since they don't do IVF she's more likely to give me a realistic answer to IUI.
