Femara dose and follicle numbers

I'm going to be starting my 3rd IUI this cycle, and I'm trying Femara for the first time. What dose did you doctor put you on and how many follicles did you get?

I took 5 mg (2 pills) on CD3-7. Two months I had one dominant follice and several smaller ones and one month I had two dominant and several smaller ones - my RE said Femara is not a drug you expect a huge ovarian response - it's about better quality follies rather than quantity. GL!

This is my first cycle on Femara and my ultrasound isn't until Saturday so I won't know until then put I'm curious how other people have responded. I am on a huge dose, 12.5 per day, on days 3-7. So, I think I'm taking in one day what some people take their entire cycle.

My first cycle was 5mg and I had 3 follicles but they weren't over 12 so he said not to waste a trigger and just to try on our own with those. The 2nd cycle I was on 7.5mg and I had 3 follicles again, 2 of which were over 16/18 and he had me trigger on that dose which ended up in a pregnancy!

I just took my last dose yesterday for this cycle and my U/S is Saturday so I don't know how this one is going just yet.

I'm on a very low dose (2.5mg) and my first cycle I had 2 large follies, the second cycle I had 1 that only measured 13mm on CD 12. Didn't have my IUI until CD15 to give it more time to grow.

I took 2.5mg and I had 2 follicles, but only 1 was mature.

I did 2 cycles at 2.5mg. I had 3 follicles each time.

First two cycles I had one mature follicle and this cycle I had two. I took 5 mg days 3-7. Moving onto injectibles next month if this one doesn't work out.
