If you brought PJs to the hospital - - where did you get them from and did you wear them? Just trying to figure out what/how many to pack. I know I need to get a robe. That's on the list for sure!
I bought some pajama bottoms and tanks from Target. I only wore one pair for a few hours one day. I was in a lot of pain still and sooo exhausted that I never made it out of my room to take a walk in the halls like I had thought I would. And my hormones were way too crazy and made me so hot so I didn't need the robe that I brought. I still wear all of it now though.
I was always told to bring something that was open at the bottom so the nurses could easily check you. I bought something, but never wore it. I just left the gown on because I didn't want my stuff getting dirty.
I didn't wear anything that I brought. But a nursing tank would have been nice to have. But I was so uncomfortable that it would have been hard for me to put on. Any kind of moving hurt. But I had a C...so now that I am re-reading what I said, I really shouldn't have responded. So very sorry....
Two pairs of pjs found at Target on clearance for around $7. A super huge pair of 'silk' ones (my due date was around Valentine's Day) and a nursing tank with flannel boxer type shorts. I put the boxers on under the hospital gown and it really helped me feel more comfortable waddling around. The button down shirt and nursing tank made sitting around more comfortable.
I wore nursing tanks and jersey skirts so I could still wear my ice diapers. I brought a robe but it had some cat hair on it and I didn't want to wear it into the nicu.
