Braxton Hicks = Baby Juice?

I feel like an orange being ravaged by a juicer.  LO is in there swishing around, pushing out this way and that and then all of a sudden SQUISH!!  I get a contraction and he is obviously being smushed. lol

We had our second birthing class last night, and it was really confusing.  The instructor kept saying that Braxton Hicks contractions are felt only in the few weeks before you give birth.  Well I've been feeling them for a good month now, and I know I'm not the only one on here who has.  

I'd say I get about 5 a day.  Is that pretty common for you too?

I used to be a big deal.  Now I'm just old.

    I've been getting them since I was about 27wks. I get them more in the evening and especially when I stand up after sitting for awhile. My doc said that it's totally normal and as long as I'm not getting more then 4 an hour not to worry.

    You get braxton hicks throughout pregnancy, but you also get false labor contractions that help you dialate, which people also call braxton hicks, right up until full labor. That's probably what she meant.

    Lately I've been feeling different sensations, but I still don't think they're BH... it more just feels like he's getting bigger and bigger but my belly hasn't grown much in the last month and I think he just doesn't have room to move around so his movements feel strange. and I only ever feel him on my right side, which weirds me out.

    We've got mirrored babies, then.  Jackson has been on my left side for a couple of months now it seems like.  One day I was sitting on the couch and you could see a HUGE bulge taking up the left side of my belly and nothing on the right.  It was pretty disturbing.

    I used to be a big deal.  Now I'm just old.

    I've really been noticing them since 27 weeks. Some days more and some less. I'd say average was about 3 or 4 per day.

    That describes the movements I've been getting and my LO has been on my right side for some time now. Everynow and then I will feel a movement that makes me stop in my tracks but it's still not the feeling that people describe for BH.

    LOL! I just started feeling BH last week. I don't have them everyday but the days that I do I always have more than one. Last night LO was all up in my right side with her but stickin up at the top, my belly was all lopsided and I a BH and I felt the same way!

    At first for me the BH feel like it does when LO pushes out.  Except that instead of him pushing on me, it's my ute pushing on him and my belly is super hard!  Now they're much more uncomfortable, I often feel like I've got the wind knocked out of me and my back aches.  :P

    I had my first and only so far about 4 days ago, and boy did they hurt. It was very late so I tried walking up and down the drive way to relieve the pain and it only got worse! I started getting nervous because it repeated a few times that night after stopping for about 30 minutes, but I decided just to lay down and try and sleep and after I laid down they stopped.

    I'm not looking forward to it if they will be frequenting from now on though
