I got curious about something. Some of you have mentioned stuff like increased sex drive, sex dreams, increased body hair, etc. All of these are "supposedly" signs you're having a boy; the theory is that the testosterone in the male fetus is making this stuff happen. Other signs you're having a boy are supposed to be craving meat/cheese/protein.
Just wondering if anyone who mentioned this stuff wants to check in after you find out the sex and see if there's anything to it.
Just a thought,

Re: Old Wives' Tales... or not?
I crave cheese, and meats I have completly lost all interest in sex, hummmm body hair? I dont think so.
How ever I cant have cheese because I'm allergic to it. Meats still turn my stomache for the most part.
Guess we'll find out next month.
I just got curious if there's anything to these things. People keep "telling" me what they think I'm having, and it just makes me wonder what makes them so adamant in a belief that is just a guess
I guess we'll see :-)

Mac and cheese lover!
I know what you mean with people and their input. It is fun though!
According to most OWT's that I've read on the internet I'm having a girl.
We soon shall see.
Same!
ditto for me. also I had no cravings, heartbeat was never the same from appointment to appointment (always normal, but didn't stick in one of the "traditional boy or girl" ranges"), and absolutely NO gut feeling one way or the other.
I did think it was funny to hear people's predictions though. We were team green (and will be again) and people LOVED to guess. One person would say "oh you're carrying all in front - that's a boy" later that same day someone would say "oh you're carrying so high, it must be a girl." I would just smile and say "guess we'll find out soon." Everybody has their theory. Like one of the pps said I don't believe anything but an ultrasound or a doc saying "It's a ____"
I have a boy & a girl already & dont' know yet what this one is. Each pregnancy has been very different.
With my DS I had morning sickness, craved pasta & mashed potatoes & gravy (not together!) and I only needed to shave my legs once a week because my hair just did not grow fast (usually I shave every day).
With DD I only had some nausea, craved Jack in the Box spicy chicken sandwiches & again hardly ever needed to shave.
My sex drive was really high with both of them & my skin has been awful with all 3 pregnancies.
This time I've had lots of nausea, but no actual throwing up, crave pasta, the hair on my legs is growing like crazy & I have very little sex drive.
So I think while it's fun to guess, they're all just old wives tales at least with me.
