My ob and breast surgeon assured me its safe, I will have to have a local anatesthetic and three small fine needle aspirations/biopsies on a few lumps they found on my right breast. one is confirmed as a galatecolete (sp?) which is not serious and basically a lump full of milk they will drain, another was a small cyst, and then he wants to do a tissue sample (needle aspiration) on some fatty tissue he found. none of it, according to the surgeon and 2 ultrasounds ive had done are alarming- no one is concerned but of course im still scared and nervous about the baby/ any pain or discomfort from doing this. i cant find anything suggesting its NOT safe, but also still a little nervous about the local anasteshia getting into my bloodstream? any thoughts or advice?
