I have a feeling I definitely will. I am already planning on having one of those photo montage videos and thinking of which songs will be playing. I am just afraid I will turn into a blubbering mess when it plays at the party. Please tell me I'm not the only one ![]()
Re: Are you going to cry when your DC turns 1?
Ok good. I feel more normal
I almost lost it at my nephew's 1st birthday.

Most likely.
With DD1, I cried every time she turned a month older and cried a lot the morning of her first birthday. After that, something clicked, and I stopped getting sad seeing her get older -- well, at least until she started preschool. And I still can't watch the photo/video montage of her first year without crying.
I don't cry as much with DD2, I think because I'm more excited for her to get older so she can play with DD1, but I am sure I'll cry on her birthday. I get teary-eyed just thinking about it. It just goes way too fast!
