PIO Question

I did my own PIO shot last night b/c DH was out.  I think I had it in the right place, and everything seemed to go fine, except the needle was at more of a 45 degree angle than a 90 degree angle.  And today it doesn't hurt (and it always hurts).  Do you think it's possible that I missed the muscle?  I'm thinking about calling the nurse.

Re: PIO Question

  • I think your rear is just 1 big muscle(some of us have a little more fat covering it...lol!) but I think if you stuck the needle all the way in you would hit muscle......I don't think you need to worry about it. :)

  • Mine dont really hurt that much afterwards ever-I would not worry. Your butt is one big muscle so you will hit it wherever you put it in!

  • I'm sure it's fine.  My a$$ got so used to those shots that I wouldn't feel it on some days (so sad!).

I have a feeling if those shots really required precision, they wouldn't let us do it ourselves! :)

    How are you feeling?

That's exactly what my DH said!

Well, I had that bizzare bad cramping eposide last night, then today I had some twinges and I'm not sure if they were in the ovary region or the ute region, but they kinda felt familiar.

You can see I'm starting to lose it and analyze ever detail at this point Smile
