Hi Ladies,
I'm damabo80, and I'd like to join you if you'll have me ![]()
My history is in my siggy, but here's the run down:
DH and I started TTC in September of 2007 as soon as the ink was dry on the marriage certificate. We sucked it up and went to an RE in 2009 when we realized that no matter how many temps I took or OPKs I peed on, we were not getting PG.
I've had two losses so far. A termination (due to a fatal NTD) about six months ago, and a c/p this month.
I was in the process of IUI#5, but it was cancelled on Sunday since my body apparently did not get the memo to produce eggs, even when presented with 150iu (upped to 300iu) of follistim each day.
Some interesting facts about me: I can't go to sleep unless I have chapstick on, I can wiggle my pinky toe independently, I won a steam cleaner on "The Price Is Right", and I work in the brokerage industry, so I'm a hit at cocktail parties when I start talking about the techincal analysis merits of the "dead cat bounce" (glassy eyes means that people are interested, right?).
I consider TTCAL my "home board" with a "vacation home" on the IF board. But, I'd like to get to know you all better as well!

Re: ::peaks in, requests entrance to the 6+ club::
Welcome. Sorry for all that you've gone through. So frustrating!
Maybe we could combine bodies.....I seem to overproduce eggs on follistim and you under produce. Maybe we could find a happy medium
welcome and sorry about your losses and your journey in TTC.
LOL, i like your facts. and actually i'm the same way w/ chapstick at bedtime. if i try to go to bed w/o chapstick it eats away at my brain until i get up and put it on. LOL
The bump keeps eating my post.
Welcome. I have to put lotion on before bed or else my hands feel itchy and I can't sleep, even though my hands are actually fine.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!

Today I am pregnant & I love my baby!
Hi lovely! Welcome to the club. It sucks, but the ladies rock.
I am sorry to hear that IUI 5 was a bust. I hope 5.2 goes much better!
Brilliant! I love it!
Here's hoping that our stimming manages to find a happy medium in the near future!
BFP #3 via cancelled IUI ~ C (2lb 3oz; HELLP) 5/16/11
BFP #4 via the natural (free!) way ~ E (8lb 11oz) 9/13/12
Hello!
I just read your son's story & I am SO so sorry for what you & your husband had to go through. It is unbelievably unfair. No parent should ever have to suffer that kind of heartbreak or make that kind of decision.
And I'm sorry about your CP, as well. I hope that your IUI adventures will bring you success soon.
But I also loved reading your little "fun facts"! (As a veterinarian, I tend to have more crowd-pleasing stories...but also the ability to bring up & prattle on about some pretty disgusting things...during a meal... So instead of glassy eyes, there are green faces.)
Welcome to the board...you will find an amazing group of wonderfully supportive ladies here! I hope your stay is short & you're on to PgAL soon.
