I'm not taking them currently, but I took labetalol when I was pg with my ds
ok, thanks.. just want i wanted to hear! dh got all freaked out because he looked up the prescription on the internet and saw that there was very little research on it and the side effects of pregnancy. i told him that a high risk OB would know what is safe to give and what is not. but you know men, lol!
Labetalol and methyldopa are two of the most common choices for hypertension during pregnancy. I see orders for them on pregnant patients routinely at my hospital.
2 years TTC with 5 losses, 1 year recovering, 6 months applying for adoption approval, and almost a year waiting for a placement. Then, a miracle BFP at age 36!
