XP: Recommend your Dishwasher

I wouldn't even know what kind we have if you asked me but we need to get a new one. Can anyone recommend a good one please and/or a good place to buy them? Thanks ladies!

    I work for GE, so I'm a little biased ;)  Home Depot, Sears or Lowes always have sales on appliances!

    I am partial to GE too. DH used to work for Best Buy and got a GE discount so when we bought our house we bought all GE appliances. I love our dishwasher because the control panel is on the top of the door so it's hidden when it's closed giving it a clean modern look.

    I'm not sure of the exact model since DH picked them all out, but all our kitchen appliances are GE Profile. It's very quite.

    I love our Viking! The apartment came with a Viking appliance package, and we feel so spoiled. My last apartment had a GE and it was good too but the Viking is more powerful.

    We like our whirlpool. My mom has kitchen aid (made by whirlpool) and it has the buttons on the top like PP mentioned. All our appliances are whirlpool.

    I responded in the nest thread, but ditto. All my kitchen appliances are Viking and they make great stuff. I've only had one problem in six years (my oven light needed changing). My Subzero appliances were problematic... and I'm being polite.
