A year ago today, I started bleeding. Before that, I was blissfully ignorant to the fact that miscarriage was much of a possibility. It took me nine months to get pregnant, so we thought the hardest part was over.

A year ago tomorrow, we found out that our baby did not have a heartbeat. I began to have a natural miscarriage that night.

A year ago Thursday (my birthday), I had my D&C.

Lord, help me get through the next few days. It is also FWP week.

Blissfully ignorant to m/c is an innocence none of us will ever have back. I miss it and being pg will always be bittersweet torture form now on and it's so unfair.
