Hi ladies...
My DH is turning 30 and I can't think of something to surprise him. I asked what he wanted to do and he doens't care but I really want to do something nice for him..
Any ideas of cool gifts or party ideas?

I did a surprise party for both my bro's when they turned 30. 1 we had belly dancers for & the other was more of celebrating different stages of life: pictures all over of him at diff ages, food ("Kids table" w/ chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, kool-aid; "teen table" w/ mozz sticks, bagel bites, chips, soda; 20's table w/ wings, veggies/dip, beer; "30's table" w/ his fav dish (pesto pasta w/ chic & shrimp), salad, garlic bread, crab dip, wine/cocktails), a pinata & a singing banana-gram, lol!
DH turned 30 while we had just started dating so I didn't do much of a party thing for him, but I decorated his office at work, lol!
I threw DH a suprise party in Atlantic City, had 7 people. Hosted a dinner at the Bacchanal (sp?)...awesome experience with strolling minstrels, wine wenches...great time!
If you are not too far away CT, might be able to do this.
How much do you want to spend?
Surprise party at your house with close friends, snacks, drinks.
Nice dinner out/date night.
Hotel room (if family or friend can babysit overnight)
Picnic/BBQ/potluck at a park or special place.
Cook nice dinner at home, order/make a cake, get a movie, have someone babysit (away), and sprinkle rose petals on the bed with something fun for "dessert" on the bedside table.
Oh - I took DH to Vegas but it was before baby and we were living in Arizona at the time. My friend had a surprise party for her DH at her house and it had a theme - so google theme parties!
DH just turned 30 in July and I threw him a birthday party. We also had a wedding the night of his actual birthday and the bride gave him a shout out during her speech, lol!
LO gave him the best gift of all though...she rolled over for the first time the night before his birthday! We were hanging out with another couple (both of whom are with us alot and had been watching LO's attempts at rolling for several weeks) and LO rolled over in front of us...we all jumped up and started cheering like it was the super bowl and DH said, "Wow, that was the highlight of my night...now I know I am 30", lol!
