Update on where the hell I've been for the past week. (Really, really long)

The wedding went beautifully, although like most weddings it had it's share of last minute freak outs and screw ups. My sister is not the best about communicating what and when things were happening and telling everyone who needed to know, so it resulted in a lot of confusion, but we got through it.
The saris ended up looking gorgeous. I'm not sure I got a picture of me in mine, but hopefully I can post one when my sister gets the professional pictures back. Best of all - it managed not to fall off, even when my new BIL was swinging my all over the dance floor. The only downside is that in order to keep it from falling off, you have to cinch the drawstring on the underskirt super tight and I now have bruises on my hips from where the drawstring cut into me. 
Gabe had a magnificent time and flirted shamelessly with all kinds of family he had not met previously. He was delighted to see my dad again, but could not tell my dad and my uncle apart to save his life. There were several times throughout the weekend he would run up to my uncle asking to be carried around then get a very confused look on his face when my uncle would run into my dad. It was hilarious. He has also become obsessed with cars and must inform anyone (repeatedly) with a fifteen foot radius that he sees or has seen one. Another something new is that he has now picked up two two-word sentences - "Bye-bye kitty!" and "All riiiiight!". I'm not quite sure mommy is ready for two-word sentences yet. 
My NT scan was Thursday morning and Squeakquel looks great. I'm 100% convinced it is a boy and will be referring to him as such until informed otherwise. He is currently measuring a week ahead (eep!) and given that Gabe was a chunky monkey, the peri wants to see me back in 6 weeks for another u/s (which may take the place of my anatomy scan, I'll have to ask my MW). He was moving everywhere and cooperated so well that the u/s tech asked if it would be ok if another tech came in to do the measurements again because she was trying to get her NT certification. So I got a bunch of extra time to gawk at him. The best part of the whole thing was that at one point he stretched out his legs and crossed his feet at the ankles - which Gabe does all.the.time when he is tired or relaxing.
Other than that, back at work. Amazingly, it doesn't seem like I'm all that far behind so maybe I'll get to play here a bit later on.

Glad everything went well. How did the apartment thing work out?
Allie couldn't tell GMIL apart from her sister. Then she figured out GMIL keeps her nails done. She would walk up and grab their hands to see if she had the right person.
They had an intervention with roommate and his GF prior to our arrival and told them to clean it up or they were breaking the lease. GF apparently cleaned it up. I don't think they ended up using the kitchen for food prep anyway - they were short on time so DH just cooked everything on the grill at the park.
LMAO at Allie. Maybe I need to tell dad that he needs to get his nails done.
Give him a month and you'll be wondering how to shut him up.
It was originally supposed to be in Dubai, but plans for that fell through around November of last year. They ended up getting married in Columbus, Ohio and did sort of an American/Indian fusion wedding.
This!! Jack just keeps. on. talking. It's freaking adorable but between the 2 of them it drives me a little nuts
