  • DD thinks it's hilarious to shorten, or abbreviate, every single word.  Her blankie= blank, bird ball (a toy)= birb, bella (the dog)= bell.  The other day she asked me "what hap?", laughed hysterically, then said "what happened?"  I have no idea where she got his from.  She says the whole word then shortens it and laughs.

  • Late to he game, but:

    "Care You?" = pick me up. He always heard me say I'll carry you, or Daddy will carry you, or do you want me to carry you?

    "Froonacks" = fruit snacks.

    "Little baby Cooper" and squeezes his finger and thumb together = small amounts. As in, he wants "little baby Cooper bites," or he likes something "little baby Cooper much."

    "Jacob boots" or "Jacob gloves" = anything that resembles our lawn care guy, Jacob. He wears boots and gloves, anybody wearing boots or gloves are now Jacob boots and gloves.

    "Bone" = hot dog bun.

    "Gobble Gobble Cheese" = lunchable. Yes, I've given my son lunchables.

  • He calls ALL penguins Rick.  We bought him one on one of our zoo trips and asked him "What is his name" and he said "Rick" (Which is my brother's name).  So now he refers to ALL penguins as Rick.

    Mac N Cheese is SomBum Cheese because his older cousin made some for him one time and her nick name is Sombum.  He hasn't really said anything cute like everyone else, he says most things correctly so far.
