I am currently pregnant with my second child...a girl. We were thinking about the name Kyndal, but can not seem to make up our minds on the spelling....Kyndal, Kyndall, Kendal, Kendall. Also having problems with a middle name (we are clueless)...last name starts with an "M". We are open for ideas on first names as well, wanitng something a little different...not a name you hear every day. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!
Re: Girl Name
I personally don't care for Kyndall (no matter how you spell it). But if you love it, use it!
Other ideas: Adele, Kimber, Wendall (nn Wendy)
If you're set on using this name on a girl (to me its a boy's name), please at least spell it properly.
KENDALLGender: Masculine & FeminineUsage: English, WelshPronounced: KEN-dahl [key]From a surname which comes from the name of a city in northwest England meaning "valley of the River Kent".
Agreed. When I read the first part of it, I thought "Like the Amazon Kindle?!"
Definitely Kendall.
For a middle name I would suggest something distinctly feminine to balance it.
Kendall Josephine
Kendall Violet
Kendall Elise
The name is NMS, but if you're sold on it, I'd spell it Kendall. I think that's the default spelling and looks the best of your choices. I think it will "grow up" better than the Y spellings, too.
With an androgynous name like Kendall, I'd pick something ultra feminine, like:
Kendall Rose
Kendall Fiona
Kendall Elizabeth
Kendall Sophia
Kendall Renee
Kendall Ivy
Kendall Arabella
Kendall Mae

I think they're two different names too. And I vote for either Kendall or even Kendal I can deal with. Kyndal is terrible..and written out reminds me of Hyundai

Kendall. Kyndal is awful.
I know someone who recently named their DD Kendall Hope.
