So Landon has his first fever ever. He is 8 months old and I was wondering if this is too young to do the rotating tylenol and motrin?? I am currently waiting on a call back from the pedi nurse but wanted to ask you ladies.

Also, he has a cough and is kinda whiny today, but also seems to feels okay (if that makes any sense). With an underarm temperature of 100.4, would you take him in? I guess what I'm asking is, is there anything they will do, or would they just tell me to rotate meds?/

    We rotated Tylenol and Motrin at 6 months when DS had hand, foot and mouth disease and a high fever...our pedi rec'd it.  

    Since he has never been sick before, I might take him in just to ease your mind.  We just thought he was teething!
