3rd Trimester

Anyone else experience this?

So as i am getting ready for work this morning, i get a blurry spot in my vision that stays there for about 15 min and then i have a major headache, shortly after when i get to work my left hand and the left side of my face get all tingly and numb for about 10 min and then go away? Anyone else ever experience this?

I see my OB in a couple hours just thought i would see if anyone else has ever been through it.

  • um, no.  that's 100% not normal.  you need to call your dr immediately. you could have a blood clot or something.

  • I would say call your OB, asap! Sounds like it could be high blood pressure/pre-e, but I hope I am wrong! The OB said to call for sudden headaches and blurry vision.

  • I get spots in my vision, but sometimes experience exactly what  you describe. my OB says it CAN be a sign of pre-eclampsia, but I was cleared. Definitely worth mentioning today at your appt.

  • I used to get terrible migraines when I was younger.  These are exactly the symptoms I had, in the same order, not long before I would get the headaches (which would put me down for the count for a couple days).

This exactly.  Definitely call your OB to be safe, but it sounds like a migraine to me.

  • one way or another it cannot hurt to ask. but it does sound like pre-e

  • Even though it's gone I think it's good you called the doctor, this way they can be on the look out for other pre-e signs, or even call in a neurologist.

It sounds exactly like my migraines, I hope that's all it is.  Either way, if you don't usually get them then it's probably best that your doctor is aware of the situation, GL!

  • sounds exactly like my old migraines - but it's definitely doctor worthy.

    Good luck!
