When do start using high chair

When did everyone start using their high chair?  Just curious....

    We started putting him in it around 3.5 months so he could sit at the dinner table with us.

    3 months, so I could do the dishes. They love their high chairs, so I put them in them all the time to do things in the kitchen.

    I haven't even bought one yet, didn't think it was necessary so soon. I guess it's not, but could be useful! He likes to sit up these days, I'll have to go get one =)

    Probably around 3 months. It's reclining, so we started with that. He likes being at the table with us, and it sure beat having to hold him.

    This exactly.  DD was showing interest in watching DH and I eat, so we thought it would be a good idea to put her in the high chair during dinnertime to get her used to sitting at the dinner table with us.  It was a good transition when we started solids shortly after she turned 4 months old.
