DH is really irritating me

DH's sister is going to be induced tomorrow morning.  I know people are all over the board on their feelings about induction and epidurals, and I respect that.  However, I (never getting of course to make the decision in real life) am against both.  DH and I have watched several movies spelling out the dangers of these, and I really thought he agreed, because he was telling other people about the things we learned.  When I asked how he felt about his sister's choice, he said something to the effect of, I have no opinion whatsoever.  I was all, um, you have to have an opinion.  If you don't have an opinion about things, you may as well be dead.  Yes it's her choice and we respect that and would never need to share our opinion with her... but HAVE one, ya know?

But here was the kicker-- at the end of the convo, he said "so tomorrow I'll become an uncle for the second time!"  I have 12 nieces/nephews on my side and one from his brother, so this will be my 14th, but apparently only his 2nd.  He said later that's because mine "came before we were together".  Which is true of 9 of the 12, but still.

I was offended and now I want to be all childish and act like his two aren't related to me.  Anyone else have a DH who thinks like this?
